| 45 ACP; 99% parkerized, Excellent + bore, Excellent + grips, 5'' barrel, COLT 1911A1 MADE IN 1944 IN EXTREMELY NICE CONDITION. THE PARKERIZED FINISH SHOWS VERY LIGHT HIGH EDGE WEAR ALONG WITH A VERY LIGHT SLIDE STOP SCRATCH. THE FRONT PORTION OF THE SLIDE HAS A DARKER HUE FROM THE HEAT TREATMENT WHICH IS CORRECT. THE SLIDE IS NOT NUMBERED UNDER THE FIRING PIN RETAINER WHICH IS ALSO CORRECT FOR A 1944 EXAMPLE. THE COLT MARKED BARREL HAS A MIRROR BRIGHT BORE WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING.
