| 38 Caliber; 5% blue, fair bore, fair grips, 4 1/2'' barrel, COLT LIGHTNING DA 38 REVOLVER IN ANTIQUE GOOD CONDITION MADE IN 1898. THE BLUING IS MOSTLY GONE EXCEPT FOR REMNANTS IN PROTECTED AREAS LIKE ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE EJECTOR HOUSING. THE BORE IS FAIR WITH DISTINCT STILL VISIBLE RIFLING WITH CORROSION PRESENT. THE GRIPS ARE NOT ATTACHED TO THE REVOLVER AND ARE PROBABLY NOT ORIGINAL TO THE GUN AS THE INDEXING PIN HOLE IN THE GRIPS IS TO SMALL. THEY LOOK CORRECT THOUGH AND SHOULD BE EASILY FITTED BY ENLARGING THE PIN HOLE, ALSO THE SCREW ESCUTCHEON IN THE RIGHT GRIP PANEL IS MISSING. |
