| 45 Colt; 80% blue, good bore, fair grips, 5 1/2'' barrel, COLT 1878 DA FRONTIER REVOLVER MADE IN 1897 IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE BLUING SHOWS HEAVY WEAR ON THE BARREL AND EJECTOR ROD HOUSING. THE BLUING ON THE CYLINDER SHOWS EDGE WEAR AND DULLING. THE BLUING ON THE FRAME IS EXCELLENT WITH MAINLY JUST EDGE WEAR ALONG WITH VERY LIGHT OXIDATION. THE TRIGGER GUARD AND REAR STRAP SHOW MODERATE TO HEAVY WEAR. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING. THE MOP GRIPS ARE CRACKED IN THE LOWER RIGHT PANEL, THE LEFT PANEL IS INTACT. THE ACTION IS SMOOTH, TIGHT AND IN TIME IN BOTH DA/SA., s/n 379xx |
