The original Swedish rear ladder style sight has been removed, and a v notch has been brazed onto the receiver. The barrel does not have a bayonet lug as the later models have. The barrel has mild spotting. The barrel has a octagon section at the receiver. It has CROWN/C proof and on the left side the serial number. The receiver finish is thinning and is marked on the left side with CROWN/C proof and J.P. 1883 J.G. The barrel bands, the barrel, the receiver and bolt, and the butt plate .
