| 54 Caliber; 90% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 21'' barrel, Original blued finish barrel and walnut stock. Casehardened frame, 80% color. Blued finish breechblock. Matching serial number on block. Legible fairly sharp inspector cartouches on the left side of the buttstock. Sling swivel on the bottom of the buttstock. Fixed front and flip rear sight with 300 and 500 yard V notches. Guide screw in the center of the right side of the frame. Stamped on top of the frame over the chamber "BURNSIDE PATENT/MODEL OF 1864". Some minor surface spotting on exposed metal. Mechanically fine, bright sharp bore. Antique., s/n 101xx |
