| 22 LR; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, One of several training rifles contending for the SA requirements for a standard trainer duplicating the soon to be adopted K98k as closely as possible in the early 1930's. The 625B and prior models were eventually not selected, the SA favoring the Mauser designed and produced DSM-34. However, the majority of all types of rifles produced before the DSM-34 was standardized, were issued and used by various SA Gruppes and others prior to and during WW2. This example is stamped on the right side of the stock "12/166", SA Sturm 12, Standarte 166. This rifle has its original blued finish and walnut stock with matching serial number bolt.
