| 8x57mm; 98% blue, very good+ bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Blued finish, laminated wood stock and handguard. Stamped on top of the receiver ring "dot / 1944" with an eagle/63 proof. Matching numbers. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two eagle/63 proofs. Eagle/swaztika military acceptance marks located on the left side of the receiver ring and barrel chamber. Stamped trigger guard/floorplate. Stamped welded lower band. Milled solid upper band. Original cleaning rod and front sight hood. Unmarked original sling in very good condition. Some scattered minor surface spotting on exposed metal. The wood appears lightly sanded, leaving a faint Heer eagle/H on the right side of the butt and "dot" stamp on the bottom of the butt and dot stamp on top of the handguard. Surface rusty cupped buttplate. The stock has grain splits behind the receiver tang which run to the front of the comb. The bottom of the butt has a split which runs to the knob of the grip. Patch repaired on the left butt. Cleaned up split on the right side between the buttplate and takedown disc. The bore is bright and strong. Not import marked., s/n 61xxae |
