| 50 Cal; fair bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, No legible maker markings. Belgian Liege proofs appear on the left side of the barrel flat and the left side of the breech is stamped VC 31. Ocatgon Damascus barrel fitted with a fixed front and drift adjustable rear sights. The stock is fitted with a stud on top of the comb for an aperture sight. Walnut stock held with two wedges, having a checkered grip and cheekrest. Scroll engraved iron mounts. Lefaucheux backaction lock. The ramrod is missing. The metal finish is a rust patina, showing spotting overall. The stock has small dings, scuffs and scratches overall. The action is not working as the hammer will not hold back. Antique., s/n 31 |
