Die Walther Modell 9 ist eine besonders kompakte Selbstladepistole im Kaliber 6,35 mm Browning. Sie wurde von der Carl Walther Waffenfabrik in Zella-Mehlis gefertigt und bildet den Abschluss der frühen Walther-Modellreihe von Modell 1 bis Modell 9. Die Modell 9 zeichnet sich durch ihre sehr kompakte Bauweise und das charakteristische, weitgehend umschliessende Verschlussgehäuse aus. Die Pistole arbeitet als Rückstosslader und verfügt über ein herausnehmbares Magazin im Griffstück. Durch ihre geringe Grösse und ihr niedriges Gewicht war die Modell 9 typisch für die Taschenpistolen ihrer Zeit. Die offene Visierung besteht aus einem feststehenden Korn und einer Kimme. Heute ist die Walther Modell 9 vor allem für Sammler interessant. Sie dokumentiert eine frühe Entwicklungsphase der Selbstladepistolen von Carl Walther und gehört zu den historischen Walther-Pistolen aus der Zeit vor der Einführung der späteren bekannten Modelle wie der PP und PPK.
