Die Steyr Arms ATD Compact Comp im Allzweckkaliber 9x19 mm ist eine hochmoderne Dienst- und Verteidigungspistole aus der 2025 vorgestellten AT-Modellreihe. Als Teil der Austria Defense Linie kombiniert sie ein leichtes, robustes Aluminiumgriffstück mit einem langlebigen Stahlschlitten. Das namensgebende Hauptmerkmal dieser Variante ist der direkt integrierte, geportete Kompensatorlauf, der den Rückstoss sowie das Hochschlagen der Waffe beim Schuss spürbar reduziert. Im Gegensatz zu den älteren Polymerpistolen des Herstellers verfügt diese Waffe über ein hammerbetätigtes DA/SA-Abzugssystem inklusive Entspannhebel für maximale Sicherheit im Einsatz. Sie wird ab Werk als Optic-Ready-Ausführung ausgeliefert und lässt sich über verschiedene Adapterplatten unkompliziert mit gängigen Rotpunktvisieren bestücken. Die beidseitig bedienbaren Elemente machen die Pistole sowohl für Rechts- als auch für Linkshänder uneingeschränkt nutzbar. Mit einer Magazinkapazität von standardmässig 18 Schuss bietet die kompakte Waffe eine hervorragende Feuerkraft für den behördlichen und zivilen Selbstschutz.
