Die EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra Ohrstöpsel schützen Ihr Gehör vor lärmbedingtem Hörverlust (NIHL), ohne Ihre Fähigkeit zu beeinträchtigen, alltägliche Geräusche oder Unterhaltungen zu hören. Das Design mit Schaumstoffspitzen und weichen Comply(TM)-Kanalspitzen passt den meisten Menschen und bietet einen Lärmreduktionswert (NRR) von 28 dB. Geräusche werden bei unbedenklichen Pegeln in den Gehörgang durchgelassen, während potenziell schädliche Geräusche (über 85 dB) durch ein patentiertes Design mit einem speziellen geräuschreduzierenden Filter reduziert werden. Die EP7 werden mit Filterkappen geliefert, die für zusätzlichen Schutz eingesetzt werden können und in Situationen, in denen das Hören von Umgebungsgeräuschen oder Gesprächen nicht so wichtig ist, niedrigere Lärmpegel blockieren.
