| Details RWS Büchsenpatronen im Kaliber .30-06 Die .30-06 ist das wohl beliebteste Universalkaliber, mit dem sicherlich schon alle Wildarten auf der Erde erlegt wurden. Die Einsatzweite der Patrone, die mit RWS-Geschossen von 9,7 g bis 13,0 g ausgestattet werden kann, reicht bis etwa 300 m. Die Patrone wurde 1903 entwickelt und erhielt ihre endgültigen Dimensionen 1906, dem Jahr, in dem sie auch als Ordonnanzpatrone in den USA ("Ball Cartridge, Caliber .30, Model of 1906") eingeführt wurde. Die Patrone wurde schnell als Jagd- und Sportpatrone sehr populär. Die .30-06 Springfield ist auch gut von rückstoßempfindlichen Schützen schießbar.
