| Description: |
Lauflänge: 62 mm Kaliber: 6,35 mm (.25 ACP) Hersteller: Sauer Modell: Baer Seriennummer: 278 Designed by Burchard Behr and produced at the Sauer & Sohn factory from 1899 to 1914, with .25 ACP chambering introduced in 1906. Only around 300 are believed to have been made. Designed to be a thin folding trigger pocket pistol, this unusual design features superposed barrels with a manually rotated chamber block containing 4 chambers. Once 2 rounds were fired, the chamber block could be rotated into position to fire an additional 2 rounds. An ejector rod is housed in the butt to remove the spent casings. This example is finished in polished blue and fitted with diamond checkered walnut grips. Blade front sight and notch rear built into the latch. Pistol is accompanied by a period pouch holster. CONDITION: Fine. Original finish shows handling marks and freckling throughout. Grips are fine with a few light marks. Very fine bore. Mechanics appear operational. Barrel Length: 62mm Caliber/Bore: 6.35mm (.25 ACP) Make: Sauer Model: Baer Serial Number: 278 Bewertungen |
