| Steinschlosspistole, englisch um 1790, System Chaumette/ Ferguson, Kal. 12 mm. LL 245 mm, blanker Achtkantlauf, gezogen, starre Visierung. Quer durch die Laufwurzel führt ein Gewindebolzen welcher am Abzugbügel befestigt ist. Durch Drehen des eisernen Abzugbügels wird der Gewindebolzen nach unten gedreht und der Lauf kann von hinten geladen werden. Flache, angefaste Schlossplatte, signiert 'Jover'. Nussholzhalbschäftung, Armatur Eisen mit floralem Dekor. Knaufkappe aus Silber in Form eines Maskarons. Linksseitig Schieber zum Auslösen eines Springdolches unter dem Lauf. Ovales Daumenblech auf dem Griffrücken sowie Öffnung zum Anstecken eines Anschlagschaftes. Isaac de La Chaumette verbesserte das bekannte System von Ferguson und wurde dafür von der Academie des Siences in Paris 1704 ausgezeichnet. Er zog 1721 nach London. Im Neuen Stockel von Eugen Heer sind im Band 1, Seite 601 mehrere 'Jover' aufgeführt. #ohne |
