| Paar Seitenschlossdoppelflinten Purdey "self opener ejector guns" Kal. 12/70 Nitro, 71-cm-Läufe mit Voll- und 7/8-Choke, doppelte Laufhakenverriegelung mit Purdey-Nase und Side-Clips; auf dem Toplever, dem Escutcheon sowie den Läufen mit "1" und "2" bezeichnet. S/N: 25977/25978. Gravurausstattung mit Rosenbuketts und feinen englischen Arabesken, Schäfte aus kaukasischem Nussbaumholz, Besitzerinitialen "G L" (siehe Anmerkung) in Gold eingelegt. Der zugehörige lederüberzogene Doppelkoffer mit dem Purdeylabel beinhaltet nebst den Waffen einen Schraubenzieher, den Spezialschlüssel für die Stossbodenverschraubungen, eine beinerne Dose mit 4 vergoldeten Ersatzzündstiften, einen 2-teiligen hölzernen Putzstock mit diversen Bürsten und Wischern sowie ein Schnurputzset in Ledertäschchen. Anm.: Dieses Flintenpaar wurde gemäss Firmenauskunft 1947 gefertigt. Die beiliegenden originalen Zollpapiere weisen die Einfuhr in die Schweiz 1948 auftrags des Comte G. de Loriol ("G L") nach. Die Familie de Loriol war bis in die 70-er Jahre Besitzer des Schlosses Allamand im Kt. Waadt. Die Waffen dürften dem letzten Schlossherrn, Sohn von Gaston de Loriol, 1871-1937, Oberstdivisionär und Waffenchef der Infanterie, gehört haben. |
