The EOTech HWS EXPS3 is engineered for professionals: a compact 96.5 x 58.4 x 73.7 mm chassis, side control buttons, true two-eyes-open shooting for fast target acquisition, and a 7mm raised base for lower 1/3 co-witness with iron sights. Unlike the EXPS2, the EXPS3 is fully night vision compatible (Gen I through III+), making it the HWS optic awarded as a Close Combat Optic for USSOCOM.

Available in three reticle configurations — 1-Dot, 2-Dot, or 4-Dot Speed Ring — selectable above. Chassis, ergonomics, dimensions, mount, and adjustments remain strictly identical across all three versions; only the aiming point configuration changes.

The 1-Dot offers a 68 MOA speed ring with a single 1 MOA aiming point — three aiming points for precision. The 2-Dot adds two 2 MOA dots, easily distinguishable with or without magnification. The 4-Dot features a ballistic reticle optimized for 5.56 NATO/.223 with M855 62 Gr. ammunition, designed for quick range estimation.

Our Helvetia Defense recommendation: for pure CQB and fast acquisition, go with the 1-Dot. If you want simple visual references to estimate distance without magnification, the 2-Dot is ideal. For tactical use with advanced ballistic estimation on 5.56/.223, the 4-Dot is the most complete option.
