Behandelt werden preußische und bayerische Säbel des 18. Jh. (darunter der sog. Neben der Kavallerie wurde auch die Artillerie berücksichtigt, und in Erweiterung des deutschen Titels findet sich durchaus auch der eine oder andere Offizierssäbel. Selbst Sonderausführungen wie der Export-Kavalleriesäbel 1899 für Argentinien wurden nicht vergessen!
