Zusammen mit einem wirksamen Reinigungsmittel sind sie geeignet, auch hartnäckige Reste aus dem Lauf zu entfernen Bronzebürsten sind der ideale Kompromiß zwischen Wirksamkeit und Materialschonung. Sie sind so konstruiert, dass keine scharfen Kante, die den Lauf beschädigen könnten, vorhanden sind. Beim Reinigen werden sie ganz durch den Lauf geschoben und anschließend, nachdem sich die Borsten vor der Mündung aufgerichtet haben, wieder zurückgezogen.
