The basis is an original K98k system (system casing with historical inspection/Reichsadler), which has been professionally overhauled and newly blued. The weapon is in very good condition both visually and technically and has a civilian re-firing certificate.
The replacement barrel has been fired, but is in excellent condition: The interior of the barrel shows deep, sharp grooves and lands with high precision expectations.
The rifle is equipped with a classic high-mounted turret and a Zielvier-Zielfernrohr (Carl Zeiss Jena Replica). The lens was professionally mounted and sighted in by the gunsmith. Due to the clean finish and excellent condition, this weapon is perfect for sport shooters in ordnance and sniper disciplines who are looking for a precise, already sighted-in complete set.

On the rifle there is also a well-preserved Wehrmacht inspection stamp with H_rken_eutz which unfortunately was not removed during the restoration. Truly an exceptionally well-preserved piece of history that is hard to find!
