| This is a Steyr Model 1912 Mauser manufactured by Steyr Austria for a Chilean contract. It is in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock matching serial number. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Receiver is correctly in the white. Patina on receiver and barrel bands, as well as some edge wear on the front barrel band and finish wear on the rear barrel band. Furniture has a light amount of handling marks, with some heavier scratches found on the bottom of the stock at the rear barrel band and a small nick at the toe of the stock. Receiver bears the manufacturer's engraving "WAFFENFABRIK STEYR AUSTRIA" and the model name of "MODELO 1912). Left side of the stock has an acceptance stamp (the Chilean coat of arms). Discreet import engraving. |
