Was die M600AA-BK jedoch wirklich auszeichnet, ist ihre Flexibilität: Sie kann sowohl mit AA-Lithium- als auch mit AA-Alkalibatterien betrieben werden – letztere sind weltweit leichter erhältlich – und bietet eine unübertroffene Betriebsdauer. Die Tailcap ermöglicht eine schnelle Momentan- oder Dauereinschaltung, und sie kann über die von SureFire erhältlichen Fernschalter angepasst werden.
