LMT entfernte die eingebauten vorderen QD-Points und verlängerte die Handschutzlänge gegenüber dem herkömmlichen 9,25-Zoll-CQB-Upper, um die Ergonomie und den Platz für Zubehör zu optimieren und dem Benutzer einen besseren Kampfvorteil zu verleihen.Neben der Beibehaltung der klassischen Laufwechselfähigkeit konzentriert sich der SPECWAR Upper auf die Notwendigkeit, eine starre Plattform für montierte Laserziel- und Beleuchtungsgeräte beizubehalten, die für Nachteinsätze entscheidend sind. Darüber hinaus verfügt dieser Upper über eine MLOK-Schienenmontageplattform und eine durchgehende Picatinny Top Rail.Der MARS-L-Lower Receiver verfügt über vollständig beidhändig bedienbare Bedienelemente, darunter Verschlussfang, Magazinfang, Sicherung sowie den ergonomischen strukturierten Gen 2 LMT®-Griff. Wie bei allen LMT®-Lowers ist die Buffer Tube mit Trockenfilmschmiermittel beschichtet. |
