Die vergrößerte Oberfläche erleichtert die Funktion beim Verriegeln des Verschlusses oder beim Lösen des Verschlusses nach einem Magazinwechsel. Darüber hinaus bieten die verlängerten Bedienelemente eine verbesserte Funktionalität für Linkshänder, die ihren Griff nicht mehr unterbrechen müssen, um die Verschlusssperre zu betätigen.
