B&T APC223 PRO PDW Entworfen um den zukünftigen Aufgaben von Polizei und Militär weltweit gerecht zu werden, ist das APC556, hier in seiner PDW Version mit sehr kurzem Lauf, ein leichtes und stabiles Sturmgewehr. Dank Teleskopschaft und kurzem Lauf ist die Waffe extrem kompakt und somit ideal für den Transport in Polizeifahrzeugen aber auch als PDW im militärischen Einsatz. Und auch für alle Arten von Sondereinheiten stellt die extrem führige Waffe eine sehr gute Wahl dar. B&T hat die Anforderungen von Polizeikräften weltweit analysiert und auf dieser Basis einen komplett neuen Polizeikarabiner im Kaliber 5.56 x 45 mm (.223 Rem) entwickelt. Das B&T APC223 PRO PDW stellt eine echte Weiterentwicklung im Bereich der Polizeikarabiner dar. Dabei hat das Entwicklungsteam von B&T neueste Materialien und Produktionstechniken berücksichtigt. Das B&T APC223 PRO PDW ist haltbar und langlebig, so dass es in Zeiten knapper öffentlicher Finanzen eine hohe Lebensdauer garantiert. Ein besonderes Augenmerk der Konstruktion lag auf der Tatsache, dass eine solche Waffe nicht einem Polizisten persönlich zugeordnet ist, sondern von Schicht zu Schicht weitergereicht wird. Die Waffe muss daher schnell und einfach an jeden Polizisten anpassbar sein um im Einsatzfall schnelle und sichere Treffer zu garantieren.
