Die Konstruktion des WBP Jack 100 im Kaliber 5.56 mit einer Lauflänge von 12,5 Zoll basiert direkt auf dem bewährten und zuverlässigen System des AKM-Gewehrs. Was die Jack-100-Version jedoch von klassischen "Kalaschnikows" abhebt, ist ihre einzigartige Konfiguration. Das Gewehr wurde nach dem Vorbild der ikonischen, verkürzten russischen Versionen AK-104 und AK-105 entworfen. Durch die Verkürzung des Laufs und die Integration der Korntunnel-Basis mit dem Gaskolben-Knie erhielt der WBP Jack 100 aussergewöhnliche Wendigkeit und kompakte Abmessungen, ohne dabei etwas von seiner legendären Zuverlässigkeit einzubüssen.
