EXTREMA RATIO MF0 D BLACK MF steht für Medium Folder. Diese Messerserie liegt zwischen der Basic Folder Serie und der Heavy Folder Serie. Der typische Mechanismus der Serie ist der LINER-LOCK. Die Gesamtkonstruktion ist robust. Alle Messer der MF-Serie haben einen hinteren Glasbrecher. Darüber hinaus verfügen sie über die Innovation einer Gegenschraube zum Einstellen des Klingenbefestigungsstifts. Durch Lösen der Gegenschraube kann der zentrale Stift nach Belieben angezogen oder gelockert werden, um die gewünschte Leichtgängigkeit beim Öffnen zu erreichen. Zur Sicherung der Einstellung wird die Stiftschraube mit der Konterschraube einfach wieder angezogen. Die halbkugelförmigen Fräsungen an den Griffen erleichtern den Wechsel vom Säbelgriff zum Umkehrgriff. Der Clip ist umkehrbar. Das MF0 ist das „kleine“ der MF-Serie und im Grunde eine kompakte Version des MF1, da es alle Eigenschaften der MF-Serie beibehält, mit Ausnahme der auf ein Minimum reduzierten Grifflänge und der Klinge, die, verkürzt, der Klinge des SHRAPNEL OG back-up sehr ähnlich ist.
