| Original WW2 issue, and used throughout the Korean War era as well. Internal label: VEST, EMERGENCY SUSTENANCE TYPE C-1 SPEC. NO. 3206 ORDER NO. W33-038-AC-6640 SEARS , ROEBUCK AND CO. PHILADELPHIA, PA. MFD. BY RELIANCE MFG. CO. CHICAGO ILL. PROPERTY A.F. U.S. ARMY. Marked on the left breast with the U.S.A.A.F. insignia over ARMY AIR FORCE. Each pocket has ink stamp le=ableing for intended contents. Each having a snap closure. The left side has an integral holster for handgun with Lift-the-Dot closure. Both size adjusting straps are intact on the back of the vest. Three buttons on the front are original. This vest is in overall Good condition, it does show some wear and staining and a few holes. One small snap has detached on the right side large upper pocket marked for PERSONAL ITEMS. |
