| Consignor notes state that this is an Australian WW2 era hand made knife, and in regards to the scabbard décor is very similarly made to another knife we have from the same collection. 11 7/8 inch blade, brass D guard with an octagonal bone handle. The pommel is held with a nut over a brass washer. OAL length of the knife is 16.5 inches. Includes the original leather scabbard which is well made, with a gold washed insignia attached near the chape which is similar to the American Eagle U.S. Army insignia, though not as well detailed. Leather tasseled tip. Over all good condition, the blade shows signs of sharpening. |
