| 338 Win Mag; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 24.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1960. Original blue finish, matte receiver, mouinted in a replacement select walnut stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap, custom checkered grip and forend. The right side of the butt has a maple and rosewood inlay which is very well done. The stock is fitted with the original factory solid rubber recoil pad, is well fitted and the quality of checkering and bordering is very good. Ramped fixed front sight with hood. Fold down rear sight. Factory drilled and tapped receiver with plug screws installed and no evidence of scope bases having been installed. Matching serial number bolt. With the attached leather sling. Used, the metal has a few scattered minor handling marks as does the stock. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 4951xx |
