| 30-06; 99% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1954 This Model 70 is in excellent overall condition. The front sight is a hooded beaded blade and the rear is a flip up U notch. The left side of the barrel is stamped Winchester Model 70-30-06 SPRG. The barrel and the receiver both have the Winchester Proof mark. The left side of the receiver has WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The S/N is on the right side of the receiver the bolt has a blemish spot. The stock is checkered at the forearm and wrist and has one small rub spot blemish at the left side of the stock at the back of the comb. It has a brown leather sling. The buttplate is checkered and metal., s/n 3045xx |
