| 30-06 Cal; 50% blue, Good bore, fair stock, 23.75'' barrel, Manufactured in 1927. Original blue finish, matte finish receiver, and mounted in a plain walnut stock. Fixed front sight, the blade appears to be a replacement. The original rear sight has been removed and a folding sight has been installed. Lyman fully adjustable rear aperature sight installed over the receiver bridge. The receiver is drilled and tapped with plug screws present. The metal finish shows wear and thinning and has turned patina in areas. The wood show wear and handling as well with what appears to be insect damage on the left side of the butt. The stock has a vented recoil pad attached, not well fitted and the stock has been cut for the pad. Mechanically fine. The bore is bright with a tight muzzle, showing wear to the rifling in the throat and some frost in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 106xx |
