| 22 LR; 98% blue, excellent bore, very good+ stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured September 1927. Blued finish. Checkered walnut stock has a red stain finish, checkered steel 2nd pattern buttplate. Matching bolt, electro-penciled. Small globe front sight with an aperture insert, marked across the top with a patent date. Lyman fully adjustable rear sight mounted to the left side of the receiver bridge. Aperture eyepiece removed for scope clearance. Dovetailed bases installed on top of the barrel, a Ranger Model 4X 3/4" brass tube scope is mounted on adjustable rear rings. The scope has a fine crosshair reticle. Optics are a bit yellowed and cloudy. The sling attached appears to be a reproduction M1 khaki web sling. Factory detachable 5-shot magazine. Bright sharp bore., s/n 138xx |
