| 22 Automatic; 75% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1907. This is a takedown model. The Model 1903 has a tubular magazine in the butt stock. The magazine held ten cartridges, and was loaded through a slot in the right side of the butt stock.. The takedown mechanism on the Model 1903 required the user to press the takedown screw-lock down through a slot in the tang to release the lock from the ratchet. The front sight is a beaded blade, and the rear is a fixed U notch. The top of the barrel has the two-line Winchester address and patent info. And WINCHESTER TRADEMARK / MOD. 1903, 22 CAL AUTOMATIC. The metal condition is very good on the barrel, but the receiver has mild scattered patina, and thinning. The walnut forearm and buttstock, and mild handling marks. The rifle also has sling lugs. The bore is bright and in very good condition. Both of the serial number match., s/n 369xx |
