| 30-40 Krag; 65% blue, Good bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1908. Original blue finish and plain walnut stock. Original fixed front and elevation adjustable rear sights. Left side of receiver drilled and tapped with two small holes for a receiver mounted aperature sight. Ebony forend tip insert. Upper tang screw is a replacement, for tang mounted peep sight. A hole has been drilled in bottom of buttstock for a swivel which has been removed. The metal finish and wood show some wear and handling. Mechanically fine. The bore has shine and strong rifling, showing frost in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 580xx |
