| 38 WCF; 50% blue, good bore, fair stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured In 1909 This Winchester 1873 Is A Saddle Ring Carbine With A Trap Door Buttplate. The Bore Is Bright With Worn Rifling And Minor Corrosion. The Front Sight Is A Blade And The Rear Is A Ladder. The Top Of The Barrel Has The Winchester Two-line Address And Patent Dates. And 38 W.c.f. The Top Of The Barrel And The Receiver Both Have The Winchester Proof Stamp. The Receiver Has A Saddle Ring And The Top Tang Has Model 1873 / Winchester / Trade Mark. The Lower Tang Has The S/n. The Metal Finish Is Thinning And Has Some Spotting Overall. The Walnut Forearm Has A Small Piece Missing On The Left Front Corner, The Buttstock Has A 1.5" Crack On The Right Side At The Wrist. The Stocks Both Have Considerable Handling Marks And Scrapes.
