| 32-20; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1888 The 24-inch round barrel has a Rocky Mountain blade front sight and the rear is a buckhorn style. The top of the barrel has the Winchester two-line address. The top of the barrel at the breech has 32 W.C.F The bore has very light pitting. The top tang has MODEL 1873, and the bottom tang has the S/N 255853B the brass cartridge carrier is stamped 32 CAL. The metal finish is very good, the receiver has minor thinning. The forearm is in very good condition with small handling marks. The buttstock has a small crack at the end of the lower tang. The right side has ¾ inch at the buttplate. ANTIQUE, s/n 2558xx B |
