| 44-40; 30% blue, fair bore, good stock, 21'' barrel, Manufactured in 1885. It has fixed blade front sight and a buckhorn rear sight. The barrel has been shortened to 21 inches. The bore still has rifling and mild corrosion thru out. The top of the round barrel has the two-line Winchester address and pat. Info. And at the top of the barrel is 44 Cal by the breech. The tang is stamped MODEL 1873 and the lower and has the S/N 197774B. The sliding dust cover is missing the finish on the receiver has silvered out, with traces of case color, the action works well. The walnut forearm has chips missing out of the left side at the top. The buttstock has piece of the stock missing at the top left corner of the tang. The rifle buttplate has the trap door.
