| 30 CAL M1; fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Winchester M1 rifle manufactured Dec 1941/Aug 1942. In good overall condition. With the exception of the walnut stock which has a faint boxed SA/SHM cartouche, major components are Winchester mfr. Parkerized finish appears original on the receiver showing the annealed two tone at the rear portion. Winchester barrel with bright breech face, oval proofed and stamped "C" and "1", the bore is semi bright with the rifling showing some wear. The muzzle gauges .304 and the chamber throat gauges 2.5. Receiver right leg - D28291-2. Bolt - D28287-1 WRA. Operating rod - D35382 WRA with small relief cut. Trigger housing - D28290 WRA. Hammer - C46008-1 WRA. Safety - C46015-4 WRA. Milled trigger guard - C46025 WRA. Rear sight - proper lockbar type. Gas cylinder and front sight are SA, sight with screw seal. Single slot cylinder lock screw without poppet valve. Grooved milled handguard clip. Grooved milled lower band with roll pin. Late type follower rod fork. The stock has a faint circled serifed P firing proof and sharp block P firing proof on the grip. Includes a post war MRT marked M1 web sling and CMP hard case., s/n 1586xx |
