| 44 WCF; 40% blue, good bore, very good stock, 20'' barrel, ANTIQUE Manufactured in 1892 This Winchester 1873 is a Saddle Ring Carbine with a trap door buttplate. The bore is bright with worn rifling and minor pitting. The front sight is a blade and the rear is a ladder. With 1873 stamped on the top of it. The barrel has the Winchester two-line address and patent dates. And 44 W.C.F. The receiver has a saddle ring and the top tang has MODEL 1873 The lower tang has the S/N. The metal finish is thinning overall but is not corroded the walnut forearm and buttstock are in very good condition with very few minor handling marks. The action works well., s/n 4320xxB |
