| 38-40 Win; 50% blue, good bore, good stock, 24.25'' barrel, Manufactured in 1898. Original blued finish thinning with areas of browning. Original walnut stock. Full octagon barrel with fixed front and buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sights. Marked on top of the barrel with the Winchester address and King's Improvement patent dates in two lines. Caliber markings on top of the barrels chamber and bottom of the brass cartridge elevator. Engraved on the upper tang "-Model 1873-". Original dust cover in place. Some scattered light surface spotting and small areas of pitting. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 5207xxB |
