| 38-40 Win; 50% blue, fair bore, good stock, 24.25'' barrel, Manufactured in 1897. Original blued finish mixing with areas of browning, silvering on edges, and areas of dark spotting. Original walnut stock has been light sanded and refinished. Full octagon barrel with fixed front and buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sights. Marked on top of the barrel with the Winchester address and King's Improvement patent dates in two lines. Caliber markings on top of the barrels chamber and bottom of the brass cartridge elevator. Engraved on the upper tang "-Model 1873-". Original dust cover in place. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 5118xxB |
