| 44-40 WCF; fair bore, good stock, 24.25'' barrel, Manufactured in 1891. Octagon barrel, shortened to length, fixed front sight, replacement elevation adjustable rear sight. Older reblue, with most finish mixing with patina. Original walnut stock, crescent butt. King's Improvement markings on top of the barrel. Markings on the rifle are mostly legible but a bit faint here and there. Forend has a crack on the left side at the cap. Action functions fine. Bore has corrosion and pitting throughout. Antique., s/n 3806xxB |
