| 7.5X55 MM; 78% blue, very good+ bore, fair stock, 30.7'' barrel, SWISS M1896/11 INFANTRY RIFLE WITH MATCHING NUMBERS IN ANTIQUE FINE CONDITION. THE RIFLE WAS ORIGINALLY A MODEL 1896 RIFLE MADE AT WF BERN IN 1897 AND LATER CONFIGURED AS A M1896/11 BETWEEN 1912/1920. THE RIFLE WAS LATER PRIVATIZED. THE BLUING SHOWS WEAR ON THE BANDS AND TRIGGER GUARD ALONG WITH FINISH LOSSS ON THE MAGAZINE.. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS ALONG WITH A GOUGE AT THE RIGHT INLETTED PISTOL GRIP. THE FOREARM IS NOT FITTED PROPERLY.
