| 7.5X55 MM; 78% blue, excellent bore, fair stock, 30.'' barrel, SWISS M1896/11 INFANTRY RIFLE WITH MATCHING NUMBERS EXCEPT THE STOCK 91316, MADE ORIGINALLY AS A MODEL 1896 RIFLE IN 1900 AND UPGRADED TO A M1896/11 CONFIGURATION BETWEEN 1912/1920. THE RIFLE WAS LATER PRIVATIZED. THE BLUING SHOWS HEAVY WEAR AND FINISH LOSS ON THE RECEIVER, TRIGGER GUARD ASSEMBLY AND MAGAZINE. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE STOCK IS SOLID WITH THE TYPICAL FOR THESE INLETTED PISTOL GRIP SHOWING NUMEROUS HEAVY DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. COMES WITH A SLING AND MUZZLE CAP. IMPORT MARKED. |
