| 22 LONG RIFLE; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Originally an M1896/11 rifle, converted from an M1889/96 rifle manufactured in 1905, converted to 22 caliber with a 22 barrel installed, single shot, in K-11 pattern. Blued finish, mounted in a walnut stock and handguard. Matching serial number bolt. Matching magazine box. The magazine box is detachable however not meant to be removed except for cleaning. Grooved sprung follower marked "DEPOSE WH" is pinned at the rear. Standard milltary sights, a Girex fine elevation adjustment installed under the leaf. The stock is unmarked. The metal has some areas of thinning and the stock has some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine, the bore is bright and sharp. Our import mark., s/n 3122xx |
