| .22LR; 90% blue, near mint bore, good stock, 23'' barrel, 1889 RIFLE MADE AT WF BERN IN 1891 AND CONVERTED TO A SINGLE SHOT 22 LR AT A LATER DATE. THE BLUING SHOWS FADING ON THE BANDS AND RECEIVER. THE RECEIVER SERIAL NUMBER IS 7940 THE BARREL IS NUMBERED 203393 AS IS THE BOLT. DURING THE CONVERSION THE BARREL WAS CUT DOWN TO 23" AND THE REAR SIGHT AND MAGAZINE ALTERED. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH MINTY RIFLING. THE STOCK HAS A WELL DONE REPAIR FOR A CRACK AROUND THE TANG., s/n 79xx |
