| 22 LONG RIFLE; 70% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 31'' barrel, 1889 Infantry rifle manufactured in 1893, converted to 22 caliber, replacement matching serial numbered barrel marked on the right side of the chamber "WERNER WICHSER / GLARUS". Tangent rear sight graduated 50-100 meters. Magazine modifed retaining the cutoff and has a sprung humped follower with groove for 22 catridge. Matching serial numbers on bolt and buttplate. Sharp Cross in Shield stamps on the right side of the butt and on top of the handguard. The metal finish has turned a blue/patina mix. Stock shows some handling. Both bolt knobs have damaged ends. Mechanically fine with a bright bore. Muzzle cover included. Antique., s/n 1730xx |
