| 22 RF; 95% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 9 5/8'' barrel, Custom modified Webley MKI 455 ex-Navy issue revolver. The barrel has been lengthened by fitting a round 22 caliber extension to the original sleeved 4" barrel. Metal has been refinished. Has original checkered hard rubber grips, which have a small screw added on each side at the butt end. Original serial numbers match on the frame and barrel. The cylinder has no legible number, and has been modified with sleeved chambers, the rear shaved with extractor assembly having three rods. This conversion is expertly done and evidently required quite a bit of work. The action functions fine, extractor functions as it should. Revolver has all the original markings, proofs both commercial and military. No markings found as to who did the conversion work. Antique, s/n 235xx |
