| 455 Webley; 80% blue, very good bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Original blued finish and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers including both grip panels. Fixed front and windage adjustable rear sights. 4th pattern cylinder without lightening flutes. The top of the barrel rib is marked "P. WEBLEY & SON. LONDON & BIRMINGHAM". Left side of barrel strap is marked "WEBLEY FOSBERY AUTOMATIC". Left side of frame is marked with the Webley winged bullet logo followed by "455 CORDITE ONLY". Standard commercial British proofs, one on each side of the barrel rib, right side of frame and over each cylinder chamber. The metal finish has surface rust spotting overall , heaviest on the grip frame straps and right side of the frame. Mechanically fine. Includes a very rare original nickeled front sight cover. C&R/FFL, s/n 7xx |
