| 12 GA; good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured c.1890. Field grade 12 bore boxlock double gun, engraved on each side of the action "WATSON & HANCOCK". Steel barrels with smooth concave rib with dollshead extension, missing the bead. 2 5/8" chambers, chokes gauge Cylinder (open) and Improved Cylinder. Checkered walnut straight grip stock, 14.25" LOP with serrated butt. Pressure release forend with horn tip. Unmarked silver oval disc on the bottom of the butt. Action functions well with good barrel lockup. Metal has worn and aged to a mostly light patina, with light surface rust spotting overall. Antique., s/n 47xx |
